His current research in Aalto is aiming to develop new materials replacing Portland cement and ceramics by using local waste soils and waste rocks as binding materials in geopolymers.
Collaboration with Leveinen will be crucial for developing geopolymers and assess the chemical analysis of local natural and waste materials.
